This policy explains what information Launchline collects from affiliates and clippers ("you") who use this creator platform, why, and how you can control it. It doesn't cover Launchline's separate core product, which has its own privacy policy.
Full name, email, phone (optional), password (handled by our authentication provider, never stored by us in plain text), and your role (affiliate or clipper).
Referral codes and the businesses attributed to them, video submissions (URL, platform, caption, thumbnail) and their performance metrics, and the payout/commission history tied to your account.
We use Stripe Connect to send payouts. We store your Stripe account identifier, not your bank details or card numbers -- those are collected and held directly by Stripe.
If you choose to connect an Instagram or TikTok account, we request only the minimum access needed to:
We do not access private messages, contacts, or any content you haven't submitted through this platform, and we never post, comment, or take any action on the connected account on your behalf. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are only ever used server-side to make the specific API calls described above.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use connected-platform data for advertising.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform, each bound by their own security and data-handling terms:
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Launchline or others.
We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention records. Connected-platform tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect an account from Settings. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below -- we'll complete verified requests within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. completed payout history) for legal or accounting purposes.
We use only the cookies needed to run the platform: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a theme-preference cookie (light/dark mode). We don't use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Because these cookies are essential to core functionality (staying signed in), the platform doesn't work without them.
This platform isn't directed at, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 -- account eligibility requires being 18 or older (see our Terms of Service). If we learn that we've collected information from someone under 18, we'll delete it. Contact us at the address below if you believe this has happened.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing is performing our contract with you (running the platform and paying you), our legitimate interest in fraud prevention and platform security, and your consent where you explicitly connect a social account.
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there's no opt-out needed for that.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 13 -- we may need to verify your identity first.
Our infrastructure (Supabase) processes and stores data in the United States. If you're accessing the platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of stored third-party access tokens, row-level access controls on our database, and restricted internal access to sensitive operations. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately for its sensitivity.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
