Terms of Service

1. What this is

Launchline ("we," "us") operates this creator and affiliate platform, which lets independent affiliates and clippers ("creators," "you") refer new customers and submit short-form video content promoting our core product, in exchange for commissions and per-view payouts. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account -- this platform involves real payouts and connecting a Stripe account, which Stripe itself requires. You must provide accurate information when applying and keep it up to date. Access to the affiliate or clipper portal requires admin approval and can be suspended or revoked for violations of these terms, fraud, or abuse. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Referrals, content, and payouts

• Affiliates earn commissions on customers who sign up through their unique referral link or code.
• Clippers earn per-view payouts on video content they submit for review and that we approve, based on the rates set out in your dashboard.
• Commission rates, payout rates, minimum cash-out thresholds, and bonus amounts are configurable by us and may change; the current rates are always shown in your dashboard before you take an action that depends on them.
• All submitted content is subject to review and may be rejected for any legitimate business reason.
• We run automated and manual fraud checks (e.g. duplicate submissions, suspicious account activity, multiple accounts claiming the same social handle) and may withhold or reverse payouts tied to fraudulent activity.

4. Connecting social accounts

If you connect an Instagram or TikTok account, you authorize us to verify that you own it and to read public performance metrics (views, likes, comments, shares) on content you submit, so payouts can be based on real numbers instead of self-reported ones. We never post, message, or take any action on your behalf, and we only request the minimum access needed for this purpose. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from your account settings; see our Privacy Policy for how that data is stored and deleted.

5. Payments

Payouts are sent via Stripe Connect to an account you set up and control. You're responsible for any taxes on amounts you earn. We may hold, delay, or decline a payout to comply with fraud checks, Stripe's own requirements, or applicable law.

6. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the video content you create and submit. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review it, display it within the platform (for example on leaderboards), and reference it for verification, fraud-prevention, and payout-calculation purposes. You confirm you have the rights needed to post the content and to grant us this license, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Launchline's branding, platform, and site content are our property or licensed to us, and nothing here gives you rights to them beyond what's needed to use the platform as intended.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or plagiarized content, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
• Use bots, purchased engagement, or other artificial means to inflate views, likes, or referral activity.
• Create or control multiple creator accounts to farm bonuses or commissions.
• Attempt to access another creator's account or data, or interfere with the platform's operation.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms. You may stop using the platform at any time; amounts already earned and approved before termination remain payable per section 5.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee any particular level of referrals, views, or earnings. To the extent permitted by law, Launchline and its officers, employees, and agents aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or earnings, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the platform is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you were paid through the platform in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Launchline harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Launchline is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the platform will be resolved in the courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

12. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign your account or these terms without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Launchline regarding the platform.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
